Aims and objectives
1. Generate civil engineering drawings to industry standards using CAD and Civil3D. (K2, K3, S1, A2)
2. Conduct engineering calculations using Microsoft Excel. (K2, K3, S1).
3. Analyse simple structural problems using SpaceGass. (K2, K3, S1).

Minimum requirements to pass this Unit
As the minimum requirements of assessment to pass a unit and meet all Unit Learning Outcomes to a minimum standard, a student must:
· achieve an overall mark for the unit of 50% or more, and
· achieve at least 40% in each individual component (Cad Revit; Civil3D; Microsoft Excel and SpaceGass)
Students who do not achieve at least 40% for each individual component will receive a maximum of 44% as the total mark for the unit and will not be eligible for a conceded pass.
