Biography
Dr Anita Amirsardari is a Research Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology. Anita received her PhD in Structural and Earthquake Engineering from the University of Melbourne in 2018. She also has a Master of Civil Engineering and Bachelor of Environments (major in Civil Systems) from the University of Melbourne. Her main research interests are structural performance of buildings under extreme loads including the seismic behaviour of reinforced concrete buildings, earthquake resistant design, finite element modelling, and testing and evaluation of connections. Anita also has experience in teaching a range of structural engineering subjects.
