Dr Adam Walker

Biography

Adam Douglas Walker has a keen interest in HCI, Design Research, and Design Education. Before completing his doctorate, Adam worked in the newspaper industry, in the Pre-Press department for several years for the McPherson Media Group. Adam has been employed at Swinburne as a teacher since 2014, his industry experience includes freelance work for Newspapers and Web sites including work as the Multimedia Coordinator at Australian Anthill Magazine, Lead front-end developer for Anthill Online, and for entrepreneur events 30 Under 30 and Smart 100 company awards. Adam has completed a bachelor’s in digital media design with first class honors, a Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching, and PhD in Design, at Swinburne University.
