What is a shared device license model?
A shared device license is an Adobe CC license that is allocated to the Mac/PC, allowing multiple users to take advantage of the full suite of Adobe products on the same device
What are the benefits of a shared device license?
Students will now have acccess to cloud based products such as Adobe fonts, Adobe XD and Creative Cloud Libraries and Files
Do I need to create an Adobe ID?
You will not need to create your own Adobe ID. An Adobe ID has been created for you with your Swinburne email address as your Adobe ID. Your password is synced with your Swinburne account
How often will I be required to login?
Staff will be required to login to the Desktop app to download or update applications. Students will be required to login only when opening the first Adobe application once signing into the Mac or PC. If you use more than one Adobe product, you will not be required to signin on the second or third application
What if I have already setup my own Adobe ID using my Swinburne email address?
This is ok. You will still have access to the full Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications when logging into your account on a Swinburne device in a student lab. When logging into your Adobe account on your own device, you will only have access to the products purchased with your account.
How and when will this change happen
All Macs and PCs that currently have Adobe CC 2018 installed will be wiped and re-imaged with a new SOE during the Semester break
