Advanced Welding
Description
This course consists of advanced Welding techniques and basic Fabrication techniques used in the metal industry.
Students will be required to attend in the correct Personal Protective attire, Cotton long sleeved overalls, work boots and correct clear safety glasses.
This course uses the skills obtained in Basic Welding to further advance the students skills to be able to assemble and fabricate steel sectors, such as steel gates, and repair steel and non ferrous items.
Students learn the basic knowledge that is used in the fabrication industry for the correct assembley of steel sectoions.
Please note: This course is not suitable for pregnant or lactating women and any welding students that have pacemakers or any form of heart implant that is subject to magnesium - cannot enrol.
