| Cairns International Airport is very conveniently located - only 7 km north of the central city area
hotels and the Convention Centre. The taxi fare is around $15 and there is a shuttle bus service
available - look for the stands in the domestic and international terminals. For this reason
we won't run our own shuttle service, but if you arrive on Sunday 25 July, look out for people with
an ICAP sign who will help you arrange and share a taxi. The Welcome Reception on Sunday evening is at the Cairns Hilton (not the Convention centre), starting at 6pm. It will be possible to register for the conference at the Hilton from 3pm until the end of the reception (8pm) on Sunday. Otherwise registration will be at the Convention Centre from 7am Monday morning. |
