Professor Timothy Marjoribanks

Professor Timothy Marjoribanks works closely with our Research Ethics, Integrity, Governance and Biosafety team to support and further develop a research culture that recognises the importance of research integrity, research ethics, and responsible research. He provides academic leadership for research integrity across the university and represents Swinburne at key external forums and consultations. 

Joining Swinburne in 2017 as Professor of Management and Associate Dean Research in the School of Business, Law and Entrepreneurship, Tim’s research and teaching engages with debates in organisational innovation, technology and transformation, and leadership and management practice, both in Australia and internationally. He has published numerous books and articles, and his research has been supported by several ARC Discovery and Linkage Project grants.

Tim graduated with a PhD in Sociology from Harvard University after completing Honours degrees in Law and Arts (majoring in Politics) at The University of Adelaide. Prior to joining us, he was Professor of Management in La Trobe Business School, La Trobe University, including roles as Head of the Department of Management, and Associate Head, La Trobe Business School. 

He has supervised more than 50 PhD and Masters by Research candidates to completion, and is a member of the ARC College of Experts.
