PrimeSCI! delivers exciting programs to ignite STEM curiosity in classrooms and develop the next generation of scientists. These include school holiday workshops, family science nights and primary school science incursions in Melbourne and around Victoria.

As well as schools, PrimeSCI! works with local communities, museums, universities, and governments worldwide, bringing them together to enrich understanding of science and technology.

School programs

Primary school incursions

These interactive classroom lessons for primary schools are designed for maximum hands-on participation. They are held at your school or venue and run as one-hour sessions

Get your students embracing science by involving their families in the learning process. These nights can be arranged at your school throughout the year for up to 180 participants.

Labrats Science Club

Have any high achievers who’d like to go the extra mile? The Labrats Science Club selects 25 juniors (Grades 5 and 6) and 25 seniors (Years 7 and 8) each year to participate in 10 months of activities, meetings with researchers, project work, competitions and enthusiastic scientific discussions.
