Campus closure and contacts
Swinburne's Melbourne campuses will be closed over the holiday period:
- Hawthorn: closed from 5pm Tuesday 24 November 2024 until 9am Thursday 2 January 2025. Student HQ and the Library will be closed, however the Latelab can be accessed with your swipe card between 26 December – 31 December 2024
- Croydon and Wantirna: closed from 4pm Tuesday 24 November 2024 until 8am Thursday 2 January 2025. This includes the Library, Latelab and StudentHQ.
Over this time, the following points of contact are available:
- Call 000 in the event of an emergency
- campus security can be reached on 9214 3333
- the out-of-hours crisis line is available 1300 854 144 or SMS 0488 884 145
- international student after-hours assistance line is (+61 3) 9214 6741
- if you have a VTAC or change of preference enquiry over this period, please call 1300 794 628 (option 2) between 10am – 2pm (excluding weekends and public holidays).

If you or someone you know is hurt or in immediate danger:
- call the emergency services on 000
- call Swinburne Security on +61 3 9214 3333 for 24-hour assistance including non-life-threatening incidences.

Extended hours and holiday shut-down
Our Future Student Enquiries team will be available extended hours over December to help you with questions about VCE results release, change of preference and VTAC offers.
Christmas extended hours:
- Friday 27 December: 10am – 2pm
- Monday 30 December: 10am – 2pm
- Tuesday 31 December: 10am – 2pm
