The Cyber Security specialisation gives students the core skills to identify, demonstrate, diagnose and fix threats in software information systems.
Overview
The Master of Information Technology course is designed for students who wish to master theoretical and practical skills related to the design, construction, operation, support, and maintenance of IT solutions. Upon graduation students, will be able to undertake professional work in the field of Information and Communication Technology.

Mobile and Cloud Computing
The Mobile and Cloud Computing specialisation teaches the design, coding, testing and operation of distributed, cloud-based and mobile computer systems. Students work together on projects and learn how to critically analyse problems and find effective solutions. Students will also gain experience in ICT research in non-academic contexts such as legal, government, commercial and software production environments.

Key codes
International student visa
International students in Australia who hold student visas are required to study full-time and on campus. Courses that are taught entirely online are only available to international students studying outside Australia or those in Australia who are not on a student visa. Online courses are not available to international students in Australia who hold a student visa.
Strong industry connections and co-creation
As part of the Master of Information Technology, all students are required to undertake the capstone project normally in their final semester. It requires students to work with industry clients from external organisations or businesses to deliver viable solutions to real-world problems.
Students who achieve a Credit average have the option of completing 12 week of professional masters internship, an internship which is credited to their degree as work experience.
