Overview

This course is a mandatory requirement for licensed electrical workers (LEWs) operating in Victoria, as part of Energy Safe's Professional development program.

  • Learners will attend this training as part of their licensing requirements for Energy Safe. Resources for this course have been developed and supplied by Energy Safe which are the Electrical Industry regulator.
  • The course will support licensed Electrical workers to keep up to date with safety, regulatory, technical, and other changes relevant to the trade.
  • Enrolled students will undertake pre-learning activities online prior to
    attending a full day of face-to-face activities. You will receive a link to theonline pre-learning activities that must be completed prior to commencing the face-to-face class.
  • Upon successful completion you will receive a Statement of Participation.

Who should attend

  • Electricians that hold a valid Victorian electrical licence (Licensed Electrical Workers)
  • Licenced electricians must complete the CPD course within the 2 years before renewing your licence.
    • For example, if your licence is due to expire on 30 May 2025, you can complete the CPD training any time between 30 May 2023 and 30 May 2025.
