Your journey to real industry experience at Swinburne starts here!

Students studying a bachelor degree at Swinburne can experience professional placements and professional internships to help you carve out your career path.

In this session, we will explain the differences between them, so you know what to expect when you undertake either (or both!) of these opportunities.

You will also get to hear from students who have completed these programs and ask them questions.

This session will not cover accredited placements. For engineering students studying EAT20008,  you may be still eligible to undertake a professional placement and receive an exemption for this unit.

However, should you only wish to undertake a 12-week accreditation placement, please reach out to your school or unit convener for more information.

This session will not cover accredited placements. For students studying law, nursing, education or health, your school or unit convener will reach out to you about your compulsory accreditation placement.

How do I get involved?

Simply join online via Zoom. The session will last approximately one hour.

Sounds like a plan? Great – add this session to your calendar now.
