Welcome to Orientation. 

This course induction is for students starting Foundation Year courses in Teaching Period 2.

You'll meet your teachers, learn more about your course, and get answers to questions like:

  • How is my course structured?
  • What do I need to organise before classes start?
  • Who can I ask for help?

You'll also meet other students from your course – we want you to spot a familiar face when you walk into your first class!

Please arrive from 9am to check in. The course induction session will start at 9.30am and conclude around 11.30am.

A briefing for international students will be held in the Advanced Manufacturing and Design Centre (AMDC) as part your course induction, from 2pm to 3pm

Meet the International Student Advisory and Support team – Swinburne’s dedicated expert team – and get all your must-have information to prepare for your time as an international student.
