In this session, Amelia Pearson will share her inspiring career journey.
This will follow with a Women in STEM panel in collaboration with the Women in STEM club. Featuring, Celia Temby, Ruwangi Fernando, Hansi Nissanka, Miko MayLee Chang and our STEM student leaders, the discussion aims to inspire students to become STEM communicators and future leaders.

STEM communication competition (Swinburne students)
Welcome to the inaugural workshop of the STEM Communication Competition at Swinburne University. This competition invites students to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams to tackle real-world sustainability challenges. Participants will create either an infographic or a research outcome solution aimed at increasing community awareness, promoting women in STEM careers, and advancing global safety initiatives.
Throughout the competition, students will engage in a series of workshops, including Adobe training for producing inspiring videos, infographics, and research presentations on sustainability issues. They will also learn data collection and visualization techniques. These activities are designed to enhance communication and digital literacy skills, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and bolstering employability.
