Software in the Library
Being enrolled at Swinburne gives you access to computers, apps and cutting-edge software. View the available computer software at Swinburne Library.
While you're enrolled at Swinburne, you have access to a wide range of software and apps to enhance and assist with your studies. Find out what software you can access on Hawthorn library computers.
Adobe
Swinburne uses the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of applications under a shared device licence model. This means staff and students are required to login with their Swinburne provided Adobe ID prior to using an Adobe application. We have an online Adobe Creative Campus hub to get you started. It has information for beginners, advanced, and Adobe legends.
Apps on Demand
Apps On Demand is a service that allows you to run Swinburne Licensed Windows applications in a virtualised environment. It provides staff and students access to a range of Swinburne applications from any Mac, Windows, Linux, Android or iOS device. Apps On Demand also contains a variety of Windows 10 virtual desktops, so you can use a Swinburne SOE and preloaded applications all in one place!
Please check out the extensive list of applications available in Apps on Demand and use S Drive (OneDrive for Business) to save your work. Additional software is available on the desktop computers in the Library.
