Finding new ways to engage students

To date, thousands of students have engaged with next gen_campus through workshops, forums, booths and surveys.

Listening Posts will continue the collaborative focus for next gen_campus, keeping the student voice at the centre of decision-making.

A booth will be set up in popular areas for students and will feature different mechanisms for engagement each week, including interactive games, quizzes, voting polls and arts and crafts.

These tools will draw students in to generate conversations on the next gen_campus works as development and construction begin.

Each month, the Listening Posts will follow a different theme, based on the different stages of development of the next gen_campus projects and larger university events scheduled across the month.

Check out the schedule in our events section below and come along to join the fun!

Dozens of students visited the next gen_campus Listening Booth at Swinburne's Pride Week 2023 celebrations, where we used craft to determine how our study spaces could get a glow up.
