Peer Mentoring services
Our friendly team of student Peer Mentors volunteers are here to help you settle in!
There’s a lot to adjust to when you start university. It may be your first time away from home or in a new city, 5000km from your friends and family. Fortunately, as a Swinburne student, you can access Peer Mentors online through your disciplined-based Learning Communities.
What is a Peer Mentor?
Swinburne’s volunteer Peer Mentors are middle year students. They act as a supportive guide who shares personal insights and experiences to help first-year students navigate university life and settle in. Peer Mentors offer encouragement, foster connections, and refer students to support services to help them excel and enhance their student experience.
