Overview
By participating in this program you will develop the capacity to work in the Asia region through an understanding of culture and business practices in Vietnam, including language lessons in a well-balanced program of study and cultural activities.
Working on a real-life consulting project to creatively solve business challenges, you will have close interactions with senior executives, managers, and key stakeholders from the industry host, business community, government departments, Australian Embassy experts and local students to develop professional networks. You will diversify your study experience and gain a competitive edge in the global job market. You will apply and strengthen management consulting, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, intercultural communication, and networking skills beneficial for future international professional careers.
Highlights / tentative itinerary
- Experiencing different regions of Vietnam with two weeks in Da Nang (Central) and two weeks in Hanoi (North)
- Immersing with cultural and language sessions at the start of the program
- Working on a real-life consulting project for an industry partner under the guidance of experienced academics and industry mentors
- Regular interactions with senior business executives and industry experts
- Networking with business executives, industry leaders and local students
- Cruising in the World Heritage Ha Long Bay during an overnight trip
- Day trip to the World Heritage site of Hoi An
- City tour in Hanoi to local landmarks and museums

Eligibility
To qualify for this program, you must:
- be enrolled in an Undergraduate Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Business (Professional) degree
- have completed 200 credit points by the end of Semester 2, 2025

Funding your overseas journey may be easier than you think
New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant
This program has a number of A$5,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants available for eligible students.
These grants provide financial support to help alleviate the expenses associated with your overseas program. Australian undergraduate students that meet all eligiblity criteria may apply. Students can apply for a grant as part of the application process.
OS-HELP Loan
Eligible Australian students can also apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of A$4,947 or A$9,893 to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
