This 2-unit program will provide you with the skills and capacity to work in the Asia region-an understanding of culture and business practices in Indonesia including language lessons, combined with a balance of study and cultural activities.

Overview
This study tour consists of 2 units or 25 credit points:
- BUS30028 Business Innovation in Asia Study Tour: 12.5 credit points for the innovation in business practices, language and culture component. This unit is equivalent to BUS30031 (Sustainable Business Practice), one of the Business Practice Core units. This unit helps students to develop an appreciation of the innovative business practices of Indonesian corporations and the trade relationship between Indonesia and Australia. In addition to learn Bahasa Indonesia language, you will also be immersed in the local culture through a variety of educational activities.
- BUS30032 Business Consulting Project: 12.5 credit points for the business consulting project component. Under the guidance of academic coaches, student consulting teams will apply academic knowledge to solve business problems provided by the industry host and present recommendations and solutions to them.
Working on a real-life consulting project to creatively solve business challenges, you will have close interactions with senior executives, managers, and key stakeholders from the industry host, business community, government departments, Australian Embassy experts and local students to develop professional networks. You will diversify your study experience and gain a competitive edge in the global job market. You will apply and strengthen management consulting, creative problem-solving, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, intercultural communication, and networking skills beneficial for future international professional careers.

To qualify for this program, you must:
- be enrolled into an Undergraduate Bachelor of Business or Bachelor of Business (Professional) degree
- have completed at least 200 credit points by the end of Semester 2, 2025

New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant
This program has a limited number of A$5,000 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants available for eligible students.
These grants provide financial support to help alleviate the expenses associated with your overseas program. Australian undergraduate students that meet all eligiblity criteria may apply. Students can apply for a grant as part of the application process.
OS-HELP Loan
Eligible Australian students can also apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of A$4,947 or A$9,893 to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
