Highlights / tentative itinerary

This exciting hybrid program consists of:

  • Virtual Learning (April - June 2025)
    • Three online courses (2 credit hours each, equivalent to 3 ECTS):
      • Global Ecology and Sustainable Development
      • Sustainable Urban Development
      • Green Technology & Environmental Sustainability
    • Weekly online lectures led by experts.
  • In-Person Study Tour (June 30 - July 18, 2025)
    • Travel across five top universities in Malaysia:
      • Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) – Climate Action (SDG13)
      • Universiti Malaya (UM) – Clean Water & Sanitation (SDG6)
      • Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) – Zero Hunger (SDG2)
      • Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) – Sustainable Cities (SDG11)
      • Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) – Clean Energy (SDG7)

To qualify for this program, you must:

  • have completed at least 100 credit points of study at the time of application.

Funding

Funding your overseas journey may be easier than you think

New Colombo Plan Mobility Grant

This program has a number of A$3,500 New Colombo Plan Mobility Grants available for eligible students.

These grants provide financial support to help alleviate the expenses associated with your overseas program. Australian undergraduate students that meet all eligiblity criteria may apply. Students can apply for a grant as part of the application process.

OS-HELP Loan

Eligible Australian students can also apply for an Australian Government OS-HELP Loan of A$4,947 or A$9,893 to help cover costs associated with your overseas program.
