Study tour overview
This Study Tour is designed for Engineering students, and will see the group travel to the United Arab Emirates. You will visit industrial and government organisations, and universities. Also included is the opportunity to attend workshops, as well as site visits of major companies. This Study Tour will also have you visiting historical and cultural sites in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

Highlights include a visit to the headquarters of a major corporation in the UAE, as well as attending special cultural events.

Eligibility and selection criteria
All undergraduate Engineering students in their 3rd or 4th year.
This Study Tour will count as 4 to 6 weeks of professional experience (in EAT20008). Preferences will be given to students who seek to complete their 12 weeks in EAT20008.

This study tour will help you gain a global engineering perspective through visiting major global companies and organisations as well as universities and and government organisations. You will also attend insightful and engaging engineering workshops and be given the opportunity to visit some of the most important cultural sites in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and gain a deeper understanding of Middle Eastern culture.
