Explore space at Swinburne these school holidays
In Summary
Swinburne University's Centre for Astrophysics & Supercomputing (CAS) is offering another great opportunity to experience the Universe in 3D during the winter school holidays at an AstroTour session.
A Swinburne astronomer will guide you on a virtual tour of the Universe covering everything from the Solar System to the size of the Universe.
The 50-minute session will take you on an amazing journey starting in the Solar System and then on to explore a Universe that is Bigger than Big. AstroTours are designed to educate and entertain audiences about astronomy.
The winter AstroTours will include the new feature: Telescope. For centuries we only had one view of the skies - a procession of stars passing overhead. But then instruments were crafted that revealed a universe of astounding complexity and beauty. Take a front row seat to the Universe, all thanks to an invention that changed everything.
