Swinburne creates professional development program for international partners
In Summary
Swinburne University of Technology has created a professional development program for academic staff of international partner institutions.
Partners from China include Australia Education Management Group (AEMG) and institutions involved in Swinburne Collaborative Articulation Programs (CAP).
Using online modules and face to face workshops, the program will enhance teaching skills through curriculum development and design, ability to teach students research skills, and building awareness of leadership.
Four online modules are completed in China and participants undertake two face-to-face modules at Swinburne in Australia to complete the curriculum development component. The program also incorporates two additional workshops in Australia covering teaching research skills and fundamentals of leadership.
The first group of participants will visit Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus for professional development activities from Tuesday 28 - Friday 31 July 2015.
