At the Centre for Global Health and Equity, we combine academic expertise with practical know-how. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to improving health outcomes and making a real difference to people’s lives. The Centre for Global Health and Equity also has a network of Adjunct Faculty and Fellows.
Distinguished Professor of Health Sciences Richard Osborne leads the way in global health literacy and equity. Professor Osborne has had continuous National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) funding since 2004 and holds an NHMRC Principal Research Fellowship, which runs until 2023. It focuses on 'globalising effective health literacy approaches to assist countries to reduce health inequalities and disease burden’. In 2018, Clarivate Analytics listed Professor Osborne as a Highly Cited Researcher in the cross-field category.
