The Digital Capability Research Platform has been established to research and develop digital technologies and translate these into real-world applications. The platform has a wealth of strategic capabilities across seven labs.
The synthesis of high-level digital capability research underpins the activities undertaken by Swinburne's various research institutes and centres, as well as Swinburne Innovation Studio.

The Advanced Visualisation Lab here at Swinburne explores new techniques and technologies to produce the most effective visualisation tools available for a wide range of research and industries.

Blockchain Innovation Lab
The Blockchain Innovation Lab here at Swinburne aims to deliver strong blockchain research outcomes to help the industry to grow. We collaborate with the major stakeholders in the blockchain ecosystem and provide key R&D capabilities in blockchain application development which includes efficiency, scalability, operability, security and privacy.
