It will introduce you to the real estate industry and its functions, including listing, selling and managing residential and commercial properties for clients, as well as relevant legislation and documentation. Offered part-time at night or online, successful completion of this course is necessary to obtain employment in a licensed estate agency and to work in property sales or property management.

Course structure
The Agent’s Representative Course consists of the following three units of study prescribed by Consumer Affairs Victoria.
Work in real estate industry (CPPDSM4080A)
Identify legal and ethical requirements of property sales (CPPDSM4008A)
Identify legal and ethical requirements of property management (CPPDSM4007A)
Assessment includes a combination of four assignments and four online multiple choice tests.
Students need to purchase an Agents Representative Pack from the Swinburne Bookshop or direct from VETASSESS.

Study options
On-campus (part-time)
Students attend one evening per week for four weeks, between 5.30pm - 9.30pm. These classes are designed for a deeper knowledge and the opportunity to work through the assessments and assignments.
Online
Students can study off-campus and have two to three months to complete and submit work by a designated deadline.
Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible for exemptions from the first three units of the :

This unit is broken into two components: Listing Property and Selling Property.

This qualification enables students to work for a licensed real estate agent in sales, property management or commercial and industrial management and sales or business brokerage.
