Health Sciences Project
Overview
This unit exposes students to real-world health science problems and for students to develop and refine the skills necessary to work in the multi-disciplinary health field. Students will work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams on industry-linked projects, by applying their own discipline-specific knowledge acquired in their degree and by using sound research principles.

Learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Apply discipline specific knowledge to a real-world scenario
- Design a feasible and innovative solution/outcome in response to a predetermined health science problem/project brief by working in a multi-disciplinary team
- Justify the solution/project outcome by synthesizing a wide-body of health science literature and relevant information
- Recommend an implementation strategy for this solution/project outcome to a wide health science audience
