Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship 2025
The Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship was first established in December 1940, in memory of Stanley Ormond Crossley Liebich.
This scholarship supports a student from a disadvantaged financial background enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), who articulated from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.

Enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours), and articulated from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology.
Eligibility / selection criteria
To be eligible for the Stanley Liebich Memorial Scholarship, applicants must:
- Meet the following enrolment criteria:
- Enrolled in Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) commencing in Semester 1, 2025
- Must have articulated from the Associate Degree in Engineering OR Advanced Diploma of Engineering Technology prior to Bachelor of Engineering course.
- Enrolled full time
- Studying on-campus
- Provide a personal statement to demonstrate personal and/or financial hardship (no more than 500 words)
- Provide evidence of financial and/or personal disadvantage. Disadvantage(s) may include:
- Financial difficulty or low-socio economic status (Centrelink statement, payslips)
- Disability or medical condition
- Delay or interruption to career or studies because of family responsibilities or illness
- Relocation from a rural or regional area in order to undertake tertiary study
- English as a second language
- Identification as an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander
- First in family to attend university
Value
The scholarship is valued at $7,500 for one year only, paid bi-annually.
