Overview

This unit explores design processes and production techniques for various interactive immersive media formats. From conceptual design, prototyping and testing, through to final production and analysis, students will learn to develop the design and production elements of an immersive media experience. Students will investigate key historical and contemporary precedents of practice and theoretical concepts for interactive immersive media to inform project development, as well as gaining experience with using relevant hardware and software. Using a reflective practice methodology, students will create, document, and present an interactive immersive media experience.
