Aviation Project: Managing Implementation
Overview
In this unit, students will work with a community or industry partner and propose a mitigation strategy that tackles a significant risk to their operations and business. Students will research and explore this problem's risk profile and account for all of the potential logistics, financial, human capital, reputational, environmental, and societal impacts in the scenario. Students will develop possible long-term solutions that move the partner from vulnerability to resilience.

Learning outcomes
Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Apply critical, creative, and analytical thinking to a key challenge faced by an industry partner to mitigate and manage risk while considering environmental, social and economic impacts in context
- Communicate effectively, appropriately and respectfully with an industry partner using verbal and written communication skills ensuring effective stakeholder relations
- Collaborate through effective interpersonal relationships to manage and deliver a desktop research project as a team
- Use goal setting and time management to further their own personal and professional development, aligned with their professional purpose

As the minimum requirements of assessment to pass a unit and meet all Unit Learning Outcomes to a minimum standard, a student must achieve:- At least 50% for the Group Project Deliverables (Portfolio).Students who do not successfully achieve this hurdle requirement will receive a maximum of 45% as the total mark for the unit.
