Overview

This unit enables students to engage with meaningful and relevant production and development processes through completion of a significant digital advertising or marketing project, operating in a team environment. Project work will provide an opportunity to apply project planning and production skills with a view to replicate, as closely as possible, professional practices that work towards cultivating students’ employability after graduation. Students will be exposed to essential project management and development concepts including requirements gathering; quality assurance; risk and change management; teamwork; and managing client expectations

Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Review client needs analysis / project requirements and adjust plans accordingly
  • Plan quality assurance / usability testing of final deliverable
  • Develop / build / produce final deliverable and manage ongoing campaign if applicable
  • Conduct quality assurance / usability testing / play testing of final deliverable
  • Develop handover communication to client via documentation and presentation
