Overview
The aim of this unit is to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the key topics relevant to identifying, preventing and responding to family violence. This unit provides students with specialised knowledge regarding gender and family violence as well as understanding the contemporary responses to family violence within a legal and socio-political context.

- Evaluate policy responses relevant to identifying, preventing and responding to family violence
- Analyse contemporary academic literature relevant to family violence

- Work effectively with other people to develop coherent solutions to problems
