Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Use electronic instrumentation for biomedical and other scientific measurements
- Critically evaluate biomedical instrumentation techniques
- Assemble components of biomedical instrumentation systems for physiological measurement
- Test biomedical instrumentation equipment for electrical safety
- Apply principles of quantitative scientific measurement in acquiring data from biomedical instrumentation
- Process and analyse data from biomedical instruments
