Learning outcomes

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:

  • Create 3-dimensional computer models of parts and assemblies (S1)
  • Generate engineering drawings according to engineering standards (K5)
  • Deploy mathematical models using standard software e.g. Excel, Matlab (K2, S2)
  • Apply computer aided tools to simple engineering problems (K4, K6, S2, A3, A6, A7)
  • Communicate solutions to engineering problems through written/graphical reports (K5, A2, A6, A7)
