Overview

In this unit students will develop techniques to present themselves and their messages in a competent manner, take initiative and engage with people within and outside of their workplace. Workplace challenges and successes will be analysed, and the workplace BIM implementation roadmap further developed. This will be assisted by identifying the most appropriate strategies for managing organisational change. Students will learn strategies to effectively communicate and engage as part of a collaborative team and how to motivate and empower others. This will include responding to change-resistance, identifying risks and risk mitigation when introducing new processes and workflows.
