Overview
In this subject, students will understand and appreciate the processes involved in counselling individuals in different settings. Students will also have ample opportunities to discuss relevant ethical issues that apply in these settings.

Students who successfully complete this unit will be able to:
- Identify and refer mental health issues experienced by a variety of client populations
- Develop case management approaches based on an in-depth understanding of relevant counselling approaches in a multicultural context
- Analyse complex ethical, legal, and boundary considerations in counselling practice
- Evaluate and implement the therapeutic change process for various demographics and populations of clients
