Sport Innovation Research Group webinar series

Join us for the first of our Sport Innovation Research Group series of webinars for a discussion on how sport impacts the environment, and how climate change is impacting sport.

Society is constantly challenged by how best to respond to environmental, sustainability and climate change-related issues in timely and impactful ways. The sports sector is no different and needs to adapt to ever-changing environments, develop climate resilience and encourage systematic pro-environmental action in order to remain sustainable and profitable.

This webinar will provide key research insights into the current state of play of climate and environmental sustainability in sport, and discuss the role of sporting organisations, participants and consumers in this conversation.

This event will feature special guests Dr Martin Rice, Dr Pamela Wicker and Dr Brian McCullough, and will be hosted by Dr Tim Breitbarth from Swinburne's Sport Innovation Research Group.

A short Q&A with attendees will follow the discussion.
