Resilience and Resourcing of Social Enterprise: A Longitudinal Study
This project aimed to understand resilience of social enterprises in Western Australia and helped lead to the development of the Social Enterprise Reporting Tool (SERT).
This project involved working with 11 social enterprises based in Western Australia to understand the opportunities and barriers to achieve resilience. We developed a detailed understanding of the activities and behaviour that appear to help these organisations to deal with resource uncertainty.
A major output from this project is the Social Enterprise Reporting Tool (SERT), led by Dr Chris Mason. SERT is a free, robust and simple tool for social enterprises to enter and monitor their financial, non-financial performance, and describe their social impacts.
