Welcome to Orientation – this is your First Day

Even if you're a campus-life expert, Orientation is still the best way to network with peers and gather what you need to plan your future. Take some time out of your day and come on down – you won’t want to miss it.

RSVP via the register now button to let us know you’ll be there.

You’ll find the registration booth for your Orientation outside the Library on John Street.

PRO TIP: Campus gets busy during Orientation. Arrive at least 30 minutes before your first session to allow enough time to check in and get where you need to go.

Get to know Swinburne inside and out. This session will set you up with all the latest tools and support info available to you. Plus, it’s the perfect opportunity to meet others on the same path as you – connections that could last well beyond your time as a student.

Grab lunch on the house and chill with your new (and old) friends. The Lunchtime Mingle is a great time to take a stroll around all the latest clubs and service stalls on show. Just make sure you’re ready for your course induction afterwards (that’s your first class!).

PRO TIP: If you’re new to Swinburne, make sure you join a campus tour and get to know all the cool spots.

Meet your teachers, connect with your peers and learn all there is to know about your course. Your course induction is the place to get answers to any course-specific questions before classes officially begin.
