Biography

Research Fellow at Swinburne University of Technology in Melbourne, specializing in microfluidics systems and drug delivery within the Simon Moulton group. Research passion lies in developing innovative biomaterials, neural cell stimulation techniques, and optical-electrical interfaces. PhD candidate with a scholarship awarded by the ACES group along with Swinburne. Previously, earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Newton Paiva University and a Chemistry Diploma from Colegio Santa Maria, both in Brazil. Previously earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Newton Paiva University and a Chemistry Diploma from Colegio Santa Maria, both in Brazil. Expertise honed in QA/QC across various production lines, including tyre manufacturing, soft drink production, and the steel industry. Additional experience includes leading an IoT (Internet of Things) node within the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) Smart Cities program and heading logistics for TEDx events. Commitment to science and innovation led to a nomination for the prestigious Science Without Borders program, a scholarship from the Brazilian government. This opportunity allowed for the study of Biotechnology Forensics and DNA techniques at Fleming College in Canada. Research honours conducted on electronic waste recycling, designing ecological bricks to construct community houses in the Morro das Pedras slum in Belo Horizonte. Overall diverse background and dedication to scientific advancement, driven to make significant contributions to the fields of microfluidics, drug delivery, and biomaterials. Research that has the potential to improve healthcare outcomes and enhance the quality of life for people around the world.
