Ms Yun Maung

Biography

Yun Maung is a lecturer in the department of Aviation and teaches aviation management and data analytics units. Yun joined Swinburne in 2023 and currently completing her PhD in Finance at the School of Business, University of Wollongong (UOW). Her doctoral research focuses on the corporate social responsibilty and performance in the air transport sector. Yun received her Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Aviation from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) in 2018, and her main fields of interest are airline economics, airline efficiency and business models, corporate social responsibility, corporate governance and firm performance, firms’ growth and profitability and tourism destination marketing. Yun's publications have appeared in leading journals such as Journal of Travel and Research (ABDC: A*) and Transport Policy (ABDC: A). Yun is multiciplinary researcher interested in the application of econometric models to improve the operational decision-making of organisations.
